If I ever have to sneak in there (CA) again, I may take you up on that offer.

Last time it was in the cover of darkness and on less than secondary roads, but I did get in and out of Big Bear without getting caught.
That was with a 3500 with a flatbed (has to stop at scales) and a 25K GVWR trailer which (even without two cars on it) would've landed me a ticket, or eight.

From the looks of it, my '52 MG TD may go there, too, but if so I'll stop and meet the buyer at the state line.
Then I could ride with you the rest of the way.

The back road into Big Bear is great fun, by the way, even with a 32' trailer. Okay. maybe not so much for the approaching traffic.

Anytime. I've always enjoyed Mountain drives. Left at 5:30 a.m. and was coming down the Mountain at 8:30 a.m. Would love to go through the pass, but turned around. Mission was to get some better pictures. Hellcat isn't too shabby in the corners. Good times...my son wants to go next time. Probably 120 mile round trip. Big Bear is another great drive as well...off the 210 or the back way off the 15.

Have driven it hundreds of times, but always in something 4WD,
Plus, it'd be great to meet you in person...even though you'd likely throw me out after 1/3 of the distance.
