New Redeye owner

Hey guys, i just purchased my first brand new car. 2020 Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody.

Car is still going through the break in miles but I’m already in love with it.

Pitch black with carbon stripes, 3.09 gears, and orange calipers. Cloth interior unfortunetly but that will be replaced eventually.

First thing i did was a full detail with paint correction and it’s going in tomo for the clear bra so i can finally drive it without having anxiety.

I think I’m going to stick with basic bolt ons, pulleys, intake, tune, and some 17’s with Mickey Thompson’s.

I came from the Srt-4 background and still have my Srt swapped Plymouth horizon that makes 540hp.

Hey lizzie...what's it like drivin the Challenger on the wrong side...

Not as easy as the Ram for overtaking as you can't see over the top of vehicles, its my first LHD car rather than truck but was expecting it. Even leaving long gaps you have to be ready to go on opposite bends than normal. I'm more used to it now but feel I miss some opportunities.

I'm wondering whether a camera would give me an advanced view before edging out to see properly, might rig one temporary in the windshield with my phone to see if it would work and then maybe hide it in the bottom grill and get something from z-automotive (or similar) to put it on the car screen.

First new car...ya done good! I have the houndstooth interior with red belts and love the old skool look. Lots of leather upgrade choices from Katzkins and they are a Mopar partner so if you go leather you'll be in good shape.

Another 2 scoops and stripes fan here!

Btw personally I like the cloth seats in the challenger I like how the logos display on the seats with the white writing. It feels more like a race car than with the leather.. plus it saves like 30 pounds.. I got the red belts and .309 gears as well.
