Hmm that's an odd crash, they usually take out a crowd of people as well.

Lmao. What a newb. Hell I’ve gotten into a sticky situation where I was doing an underpass run in the far left lane and I didn’t see there was runoff coming from a gutter at the entry. I was doing about 75 and just ripped it in track mode with traction off. I literally powerslide the car a bit in the break down to the left then on my right was a Jeep.. as I was coming back I was like no F-ing way am I losing control. I whipped it back from the Jeep on the passenger side and two more quick left then right.. I pulled it back together and then continued accelerating.. just in a higher gear. But damn! Careful about that possible condensation on the street before tunnel runs folks! It almost bit me.

Live rear axle? More power than one can handle? Showing off? Snapchatting the whole thing? Probably.

Mustang owners....Well its the most affordable car to both buy and add big horsepower to and people don't think about wider tires apparently lol Also, I read somewhere about the issues with Ford traction control and stability control....apparently that is part of the problem b/c its response to that is not appropriate and even fully disabling it after a certain amount of wheel spin it re-engages.

But mostly, the idiots that buy that type of car don't know how to drive :p:LOL::ROFLMAO:

They’d rather crash than lift off.

Easy there Andretti LOL. The Challenger/Charger are a long wheel base car and that makes them pretty easy to control sideways. Not taking up for the Mustang guys at all, but with the shorter wheel base it's much easier for them to get away from you.

I had a 370Z that had NO wheel base and if that thing got loose I was sawing at the steering wheel wildly to get it back under control. Caught me off guard the first time since the Challenger was so easy to drift.

I have had a couple of Mustangs myself , & they do come around on you quick.
It's known as "The Mustang Curse" & it is bc of the short wheel base.
You can't be stupid or careless in any car but especially a Mustang or that's what happens.

Wow...anyone experienced this before at a cars and coffee event?!? Where is this at? I'll admit I've only been to a couple of Cars and Coffee events, but I didn't see people egging me on with phones taking video for me to do burnouts when I left.

Throwing the power down while doing a turn is a sure way to get bent out of shape. Especially with a car that has some power. I learned long ago not to throw down the gauntlet in the middle of a turn....at least wait till you're pointed straight! I have a Thirdgen Camaro with a roots blower (short wheel base) and learned real quick goosing the throttle in the middle of a left turn is a real bad idea. I almost got intimate with a ditch....

I feel bad for the guy. He had a straight shot down an open road and the car let him down.

Bigger wing and more louvers and he probably could have kept it in line.

In the short time my Mustang was with me it did have a propensity for the rear to step out if the traction nannies were off. And even with the new IRS, would start to bobble around if you got into even slightly scabbed/wavy road surface conditions when giving it the beans..
The Hellcat will try to kill you too, but it seems more predictable/controllable than the Mustang was.
