2016 Cat recall changes

A few people have asked for changes after the cat recall flash. The answer is really no change as far as the flash goes but the potential to maybe reduce even more torque. This explains why @moparjim still had so many issues after the update. Anyone curious around 0 DA I saw @vortecd 100% stock car hit 98% injector duty cycle on more than one pass. I can't remember off the top of my head but the car was going for .68 or .7x lambda something on full throttle and the fuel couldn't keep up. This was pre cat recall we won't be doing any testing before we tune post recall. No point @moparjim did that and there were no improvements.
@vortecd let me pull a stock file before and after the update.

My car was maxing out the injectors from adding fuel and adding timing to burn it off apparently. My AFR was in the mid 10's before the recall was done. Basically why I had it done. Thinking something was off and this would cure it. Wrong!!
I will look and see if I can find a post recall, pre tune log to send you.

My car was maxing out the injectors from adding fuel and adding timing to burn it off apparently. My AFR was in the mid 10's before the recall was done. Basically why I had it done. Thinking something was off and this would cure it. Wrong!!
I will look and see if I can find a post recall, pre tune log to send you.
Right it will send extra fuel to cool the cats. Here is one of his pulls that day. factory is around .87 for normal power enrichment without the cats adding more fuel. Injectors just can't keep up.

Mine was losing some pressure making the injector situation worse. Changed the fuel pump and the same results.
Yes. He did. That was struggling as well. I really wish the hellcat had dual pumps as well. I remember reading a lot of people running a 2.85 on hellcats without any fuel upgrades and that's just crazy.

I know a guy that ran the 2.85 on stock fuel system. He though I was nuts for suggesting he upgrade his injectors. As did his tuner.
He ended up having issues with the car and sold it.
This was a couple of years ago.
Since then I would have also suggested upgrading the fuel pumps.

I

I know a guy that ran the 2.85 on stock fuel system. He though I was nuts for suggesting he upgrade his injectors. As did his tuner.
He ended up having issues with the car and sold it.
This was a couple of years ago.
Since then I would have also suggested upgrading the fuel pumps.
Upgrading the injectors if only to Demon injectors would have gotten the job done.

I did the recall, then got a tune. I do have 2 pumps tho.

I did the recall, then got a tune. I do have 2 pumps tho.
I’ve raced a number Redeyes with my tuned 2015 Hellcat and we run door to door until we dropped at 145/155. I think most important I was with a 170 pax and they were alone so.. My tuned 2015 Hellcat has gapped a couple stock Hellcat every time so…

justed talked to @DemonSRT an as expected he has no problem.
tomorrow I will drop the car down attach cradle an take a bunch of pics an measurements for anyone who wants to copy.;)
it works fantastic.
there`s a separate support for rear of oil pan so you can remove trans as well.
