Before the strike we were making about 25 of 392 Wranglers a day, every day!

Just like my TRX, prices are out of hand.

I wonder if these have the same limits the 24 TRX will have.
You used to be able to get some really nice discounts from dealers that actually want to sell cars.

Because they are bad ass.
The 392 is exactly what the Gladiator/Wrangler needed. V6 is too damn slow IMO

I want to swap my Gladiator have a manual 392 Gladiator.

I do not believe they will ever offer the V8 in the Gladiator. I’m not sure why because the front 1/2 of the Gladiator uses the exact same parts. Sometimes they pull doors or fenders from JL(Wrangler) to use in JT(Gladiator)
They’re both assembled under technicality one roof, just different areas.
To be honest when they announced they were putting the Hemi in the Wrangler all of us on the floor thought it was going to be the 5.7 hemi, never dreamed it would be the 6.4
Makes me want one every time I see one going down the line! Out of my budget to at this time. I can only do one huge dollar car at a time and that’s pushing it! I’m sure they’ll be done with production by the time my SS is paid off. If they’re still making the 392 Wrangler when it’s paid off I will most definitely add one of these to our growing stable.

We just went to Kansas (1,600 miles round trip) to pick up a 1956 Chevy 3100 for the wife to build up they way she wants. Went Friday to pick up a vintage winch and wrecker boom for it.

A friend has a 392 Wrangler that his wife drives. She really loves it. Just won the Jeep award at a local car show a few weeks back.

If you really wanna get silly: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2021-jeep-wrangler-34/

I think the 392 in the Jeep is pretty awesome, but those are NOT $100K cars. They're not even $50K cars to be honest. Surprised people pay that.

I’ve very seriously thought about a 6.2 in my Wrangler. I already have the spare 2.7 IHI. If I swap a 426 bottom end into the SS I’d have a complete motor to use. It’s more the transmission and differential swap cost that’s stopping me.

Only problem is the 392 has 2 to many doors!

You could literally buy a Rubicon, 392 crate, trans, and still have 30k in money for off-road upgrades before meeting the base price of a Wrangler 392

This is strange…

“The 392 achieves just 13/16/15 mpg city/highway/combined“

Why do I get real world 16-22 MPG in a big Durango SRT 392? SOB can squat and grunt. Also, the big Durango got to 60 in 4.2 seconds using its launch control, why is the little Jeep so slow AND drinks so much gas?

No it will not, standard 350 Chevy that’s already in it.

Tires and aero are two other reasons.

Much like getting 24 mpg with a Redeye and 15-16 with a TRX.

Weight isn't that much of an issue unless there's a lot of getting the mass moving going on, like driving in a city.

Since neither a Challenger or a Jeep belong it that kind of environment, weight shouldn't matter.

You're about the only person who lives on, little house on the prairie.

Which isn't all bad.

Fun roads, no stoplights, no taxis, no alligators, and so on.
