He actually said he would buy one BEFORE he bought an EV...so if he bought the bike...he probably road it to his nearest EV dealer...(if we believe what he says)..

Then in 71..(senior year)...traded it in on a new "71 Demon 340"....I was the man...no kid had a new car...especially a performance car...

Like this.... Its electric and badass lol. Goes 50 mph and has 14k watts of power! Its called a Boxxbike and its from the Chech Republic. There is one dealer here in the states in Nashville.

I will buy a bicycle before I buy an electric car.

I'm not one of those people who says "I bought my vehicle for xxx, and pretty soon it's going to be worth more than that".

But the more I read about these flashlights-on-wheels and 6 cylinder "muscle" vehicles, the more I see prices going up on 392's/HC's.

Looking at my DRST 392, if someone wants a muscle SUV, what are their choices?

I had the 400 hp Explorer ST 3.0L Ecoboost (430 hp with the Ford Performance Tune that retained the factory warranty). With that tune and nothing else, my best Dragy run was 0-60 mph in 4.7 sec and the quarter in 13.1@103 mph. Those numbers are almost identical to my 392 DSRT!

But the sound wasn't there. Nor the perception. Sure, it was comparitively fast, cost $20k less and got 20 mpg, but it was indistuinguishable from anything else.

Now you can get high hp V8 SUV's from BMW, Land Rover, etc. But are they really "muscle" SUV's? I don't think so.

I guess when you stop seeing mules having open trunks and tampon strings, they finally figured out the electrical issue not allowing the hatch to open so they can reset the 12v battery in the trunk.

But the 90 days is tentative based on documents they sent dealers. They are hoping the issues are resolved by August/September. I've had sources tell me they had to put a bunch of engineers on the Daytona and they have to engineer some new parts LOL

You would think that they would have learned from the previous Charger and Challenger. If you come out to a dead battery with the current gen there’s no good way to get the trunk open without climbing through the car folding the rear seat down and trying to find the emergency release trunk handle. Crazy.

Well, if you keep the jump box and/or jumper cables in the trunk it's time for a change of plans.

Otherwise it's similar to writing down the combination for your safe and putting that note in the safe.
