We saw 26 psi on the dyno before belt slippage started. That was with the 3.0 pulley from magnuson. So we’re gonna turn it down abit and go with the 3.25. Probably gonna see 22-23. 26 is to much for me lol.
This is on a built 426 block.
That boost is rather common in the fast GTR world... even more so in the 4cyl crowd. 4G63 (DSM stuff) handles double that with the right parts... that's how they make ~1500+ hp with <3L of displacement.
FWIW - Not many - if any - of those guys are running pump gas... the fast guys are on meth. That changes everything.
What year VR4? I had a 1994 pearl white with chrome wheels! I was like 26 and my car payments were twice what my rent was but man that car was fun. Talk about turbo lag! I wish I had some pics. True story. I bought a 1993 3000GT I think an SL non turbo. Had it about 2 months and just wasn’t fast enough so I brought it back and got the VR4. Loved that car.

This, 100%. If you can't use that flow, you're not doing anything. Being able to sustain that pressure and get useful work out of it is what impresses me.
