So far mine haven’t gotten into any quables either and during winter my garage gets pretty tight with everything that likes to stay warm and cozy through the winter. It’s like working in a sardine can though, I changed transmissions in both like this, no fun being so tight and my wife overheard me bitching but it’s better then out in cold driveway or some hack doing it.

Capri, 84, built in 89 for 5 liter shootout when it first became a thing but engine built for NO2 and at that time rules where a cage for NO2 so it sat for 25 years while I got involved in a different hobby and raising a family and fast cars where not part of. Inspection sticker still says 11/89, Changed all the fluids and rubber and put her back on the road about 3 years ago as an antique. She’s a mid 12 car just motor mid 11’s on spray on 245/45-16 Dunlop street tires, would do better on slicks at 2950 lbs wet makes her a fun quick little girl. Hasn’t seen water to even be washed since 89, interior still smells like when I bought her in 85. The cat whoops her but everywhere except at car shows where she gets all the attention.
