Hi Guys. I installed the JXB center bearing on my perfect driveshaft on a 21 Charger RE because I am adding horsepower for this season. Well, I got an instant vibration at 80-85 mph. The cause of the problem seems quite obvious....the driveshaft is now pushed WAY over to the drivers side. The mounting bracket is already solid against the passenger side of the driveshaft tunnel so it cannot be adjusted any further. And the mounting bracket does not allow for removal of that amount of material to get it right. So I ruined a perfectly good driveshaft for nothing and am installing a new one this weekend.
I have contacted JXB and am waiting for a reply. I did trip over a bunch of guys on another thread somewhere with the same issue, but the thread was not under JXB. So I started this one. Maybe if enough guys post that they have the same problem JXB will make a bracket for us that fits cars with this issue. I have to assume that for some reason our driveshaft tunnel is off a bit from the factory because most guys do not seem to have this problem.

Did you not cut all the rubber off?

The driveshaft is always offset, it’s not straight in there.

I have a hellcat 300 and installed the JXB carrier and i am having the same problem. There is a silver ring on the driveshaft now from where the driveshaft has been rubbing on the carrier bearing... making me wonder if the carrier bearing is causing the driveshaft to be in a bind? I have bad vibrations above 60 mph+ and i alot of vibration when i start accelerating and when i let off gas. I cant figure out the issue. I have seen other post/ videos about the upgraded carrier bearing rubbing on the end of the driveshaft, but no one ever says what really was the source of the problem.. Im lost.

It would really help if people with the issue just threw the car up ⬆️ n the air and took pics so we can see if anything looks off

At transmission, at driveshaft, and the carrier bearing. Snake a camera or horoscope over the heat shield

Thinking a few put it in backwards. Some things have a orientation and could easily be installed backwards by keyboard warriors who really should t be working on mechanical things. 🤷‍♂️
