It truly is the worst. Thank God for cruise control. I came from a 72mph governed trk to a 65 trk and operated mostly in 65+ state limits, but most of what we do goes to Cali and it's absurd 55mph. 😠
(And Wal-Mart safety will ding you if over speed)
So I settle in around 58 and turn up Willie's Roadhouse.

And we have to actually park the trk and take our ppwrk for produce to get stamped at inspection. PITA.

^^^Awesome to see trucks get used properly. My 75' PW had a bazillion scratches from tree branches, rock dings and who knows what else. 😂

My 18 ram 2500 is a work truck..it loaded with all the bells and whistles..but a work truck nonetheless....it plows in the winter..pulls stuck big trucks outta the snow..carries up to 3500 lbs regularly..it gets beat up pretty good...just turned 90,000 miles without a hiccup ...gets washed EVERY day...looks great...but its still just a truck...

Yeah it pains me to see the $50k and up trucks like the Rams, Raptors, and Rubicons so shiny and pretty. They know nothing but asphalt & concrete.

To be honest, it’s a great motor. Lots of power, great fuel economy, and the truck rides fantastic. It’s just not a V-8. Come on Ram with the TRX already!

Thankfully they are not. When I went to register mine (in CA) they wanted to pin it with the "truck" label, which of course is much more expensive than a car is.
When asked if it had a back seat I could honestly tell them it did. One of the very few things it did have.

Either way, a car you put things in, a truck you put things on, but even the CA DMV didn't know that.
And let's not even get into the 10-bolt axles and 3.08 gears. Still, I miss mine even though it was nowhere near as nice as stonewall's.
Especially once it had a Banks turbo, 3/4-ton axles with 4.10s, and a TH700R4.

By any chance, are you selling, stonewall?

Good points and in Virginia they hammer you to the point my registrations are labeled like Semi Trucks insane. They collect higher taxes by bumping any 1 ton trucks to Tractor Trailer registration.

When I bought my first Ramcharger in California, it was classified as a Station Wagon on the title, which I thought was awesome because it made registration cheaper.
