Ever visited a Summit Racing retail store?

I spent alot of money with them and PAW back in the day. But had never been inside an actual store. All I can say is I'm glad I don't own older cars at present. Kid in a candy store is real. 😂

Whoever advertised in the back of Hot Rod, 4 Wheel & Off Road in the 80's. I spent money with them. When I swapped out my 318 for a 360 in my Powerwagon I bought the Edelbrock intake and Holley 600cfm 4b from PAW or Summit. 1989ish.

Their main store is about 45 minutes away, go there often for car shows in normal times.

Last summer my son snapped the clutch cable in his Cobra. Couldn't find the right one locally and needed it ASAP. Summit had the correct part, and I had the day off so I drove 5 hours round trip to go get it. The store was awesome, but I didn't really have time to look around much. Wish it was closer.

Living in Ohio it's easy to go to both Summit and Jegs.

I went to one of their stores a few years ago to get a differential for my '70 Challenger. When I told the sales person I just drove 7 hours from New Jersey, she was so surprised she gave me a free hat, 10% off my order, had a manager come out to say Hi and Thank You. Really nice people. And they had the right part too. Drove 7 hours home to my mechanic and had the '70 back on the road a day later.

Those stores are like the combo Gander Mountain + Northern Tool complex here in Ocala.
There is a hotdog stand outside, so you can just drop me off in the AM and pick me up at closing time

Been there a few times, everything from motorcycle riding gear to wheels and tires. Nice in a pinch to run there and get it, it's an hour away!

Never been there but been to Columbus many times I have been in Lane Automotive in Michigan and it looks similar

I went to 2 in Ohio as well as Jeg's on a trip. My wife and I agreed it is good that there isn't one close to us.

Same here, glad there's not one close by me or they would have got more of my money.

The closest I've been to seeing their store is when Mike and Dave from RoadKill went to the store and did a small block chevy swap in their el camino right there in Summits parking lot. The camera crew went inside the store when Mike and Dave were buying parts.
I live in CT. Thank God OH is 10 hours away. I'd be there everyday and broke. LOL!!!

I have spent quite a bit of money with Summit Racing, and have never been disappointed with the speed in shipping and prices...
I was able to visit the Reno store (actually Sparks) while attending Hot August Nights a few years back - the store front was cool, but the huge
warehouse in back is what really mattered!!!

Yeah I was so jazzed about Hot August Nights. All my WAL-MART guys were pumping it up because of my cars...then of course, cancelled. 😠😪😂

Used to live in Stow Ohio and visited the Summit location a few times. It is like a candy store for car enthusiasts for sure. I remember them having a killer Black 55 Chevy parked inside the showroom that looked just like the one that a young Harrison Ford piloted in American Graffiti. Great store.
