So, we are seeing recall letters going out for all model years, including the Feb/Mar 2017 build period?
My recall just says "Certain 2015 to 2017 model year" with superchargers

That's weird. So, it was some in the bin were bad and not others it sounds like. If it has been reducing performance as some have said, I'd very much like to have it done.

I didn't hear of people losing performance. I did hear speculation of that before anyone had it done.
I will be at the track finally this weekend so I will be able to tell likely if there is a performance loss.
Late last fall I had a code for the cats that hasn't come back. although in my data logs my car is going into cat over temp. Oddly not at the same time during the run.
I am hoping that the reflash makes that setting less sensitive and I don't have that problem anymore.
Driving around there is no feeling of lost power. As some have said the car feels maybe a little more responsive.

Well I'm at the track.
I am thinking the reflash did not cost power. First pass 10.78 in 2200 DA . Then a 10.89 and 10.87 with Da at 2250 and 2350. Note the grains have gone from 84 this morning to 100. Last pass was 10.83 with Da of 2590 and grains coming back down at 95 although the temps have risen from 88 this morning to 94 on the last pass.
So as far as performance goes I don't think it hurt it on my car.

Didn't hurt my car either, multiple 10.9x passes with 2500+ DA and big molecules in the air.

My last pass was in a bracket race I let off early and he stabbed the brakes. I lost by .03 but I ran a 10.81 on a 10.84 dial in. It is definatly not hurting my car. At 2580 DA with grains of 100 I wouldn't have expected it to be that quick even. 1/8 & 1/4 mile speeds were about normal if not higher by a little.
I didn't get a chance to log. My diablo takes a minute to set up and there were allot of cars.
Next week I may try test and tune day on Sunday. Less cars and more time to prepare. I have a feeling my car isn't going into cat over temp as bad as before judging by my mph. My 60' times were slow due to heat which usually means I would be trapping at 128/129 in this weather if I'm lucky. Today was 131 most of the day. 🤷‍♂️

Talked to my dealer this week regarding the recall. He had never heard of it....also no idea how long it will take to get parts in. Apparently they’re on back order now.

no surprise. I will wait to see more feedback on it. I may run cat deletes anyway. Already have them along with a 3" exhaust that came off the Daytona

Calling mine tomorrow since it's oil change/tire rotation time anyway. They are a small dealer & don't sell a lot of Cat's. Want to make sure I'm not the 1st one they are doing

I guess I’m going to go and have this done. I’m wanting to add some power so should go on and do this before unlocking the pcm

Still no adverse issues, after my V86 recall.

Haven't read about anyone else having trouble, after the 2nd go around (flash fix).

Here in SoCal, prolly couldn't smog it, without it. Glad I did. Seemed to fix a throttle and torque lag I had, after the CC flash.

Well, they have the parts & have done quite a few already. I'm going in on Tue to have mine replaced, hope they don't screw up the alignment of the tips.

They dont have to drop the entire exhaust... just from the collector to the mufflers. Tips shouldn't be an issue.

Still haven't been able to replicate the falling flat on its face, however I have noticed that the car is more tempermental about switching from track/sport/custom/default with those orange triangles.
Noticed that as well on mine after the recall.......says it cannot change power levels.

Has anyone else that had the recall done after they fixed the flash had this issue or was it something that only manifested on the early cars that had the 'bad' flash applied ??

Sounds like the issue i have caused by the Tazer. If I use line lock, when I release the button it switches modes and I have to switch to another mode and back to custom.
Not sure that is what they are dealing with. It is a known issue with one of the last Tazer updates.
I have not had any other issues due to the recall flash.

that does lead me to wonder if it is attributed not to the recall flash but to my use of the Burnbox....or at least the presence of it in the OBDII plug.....I have never actually run the line lock yet nut it was plugged in.

This issue manifested for me, after the UConnect 18.45.01 flash. 2015 HC Charger.

Never did it, before.

I enable my custom setting by double tapping the SRT button. Since 18.45.01, I get the cannot change power setting error, if:

1. Under acceleration
2. During deceleration

Sitting still, at a light... no problem. No error message.

On the fly, as long as I maintain throttle position, it's cool. If there is any throttle change... error.

Also, I have found that if I am driving and want to switch to custom mode, I can let off the throttle and wait a couple of seconds, then double tap the SRT button... no error.

@fumanchu182... you see this error? What do your logs say?

Bob

I have this issue, sometimes the power setting is not selectable and this only occurs after the latest Uconnect update.
