It was used in a case with the GTO... they showed the car doing a burn out and that was used as explicit authorization from them (the manufacturer) that such behavior was expected and did not constitute abuse.
Guy got a new motor out of it... and he shouldn't have. In my opinion. There was clearly stuff that was beyond the pale, not just a few burn outs. But what are you going to do?
