Last time I talked to Curt he was needing a test redeye so he can remote tune one. I guess he got one. I lost interest in tuning mine for now but thanks to you guys. I'm sure the urge will be back.
Glad you found your way over here.

I guess I’ll move in Curt’s direction.

Just pay attention to the fuel you run. RE makes 14.5psi on the stock setup. I wouldn't go much over 16psi on 93 pump gas personally. That limits options on the RE as far as pulleys go IF you stick with 93 octane pump gas.

There's a lot more in tuning than just making more peak HP. There is torque management, shift pressures, shift schedule, etc that all help at the track and driver experience.

For race gas (or E if that's your thing) power can be turned up a bit with additional timing. The Demon crate PCM has about 6 degrees of added timing everywhere vs the pump gas PCM.

Redeyes can be down right dangerous at the track on just a tune. Ask me how I know...
Ok! How do you know?

Unfortunately I’m stuck with 91 octane with Boostane. What are my options. I want to bump it up a bit.

On 91 you won't be able to add any power directly. I'd wager you're getting some STKR already as it is. A custom tune can still be a nice enhancement though as you can set the car up the way you like it and reduce some of the torque management.

Do you race the car at all? Going to E85 or a stand a lone race gas only tune are really your only other options I think.

My Hellcat is tuned with pulley and injectors with no STKR. Running Boostane for 93 octane.

Considering tuning the Redeye but don’t think I want to do the pulley.

The red-eye in the video I posted in this thread runs deep 9s in heat - in addition to winning the heads up hellcat shootout at the Canadian Mopar Nationals against pullied counterparts. The car is full weight, on a small tire and runs the stock unmodified blower- down to the pulleys. No nitrous. Check out the video I posted and see for yourself.

It pulls like a freight train and runs down other cats running a lot more boost and a lot less weight I am fortunate enough to be the driver of that car. Lol

I'm not a fan of pump 93 for any repeated racing in a forced induction setup like hellcats and redeyes. It's like playing Russian roulette with your engine.

At best, you will most likely have some knock retard, which slows the car down. At worst, you buy some bad pump 93 and something far worse happens. I don't trust it and don't like using it to race. Won't use boostane either. Look at what it does to spark plugs, o2 sensors, converters, etc.
If you choose not to use e85 ( which is also the only pump fuel you can test)then I would use Sunoco 260gt or 260gt plus as safe alternatives for racing purposes. Keep in mind that any gasoline based stock boost setup (and in some cases pullied setups also) will get gapped by the same stock boost setup on e85 at the track.

I don’t race my car. Well not on the track.😉

Right now, I'm running pump e85 the pumps are all on summer blend e85. I just filled my tank today at the local Speedway for $30 ( $2.02 per gallon). The fuel tested e87.

I won't use winter blend e85 at all

Do you test your pump E85 each time you fill up? What do they do to the winter blend?

The best fuel to run at the track is E85 or associated fuel like Ignite Red or E98.

The guys still pushing Q16/C16 are living under a rock, IMO. The quickest hellcats all run E85 (well I am not sure about Epling).

I take offence to that ...... Lol I think my cars runs pretty good for not running E85...... We also don't have E85 in Canada at the pumps .

Easy Brother, you are running real good, I wish you would get some shipped in, there are soo many benefits, like clean plugs and cylinders. The only bad thing is that it sucks to try to start the cat when the temperature drops.

Nah I was being sarcastic. Lol once I get my suspension figured out ( I'm getting closer) you never know what I will try next .

Yes I test Everytime. Ethanol doesn't like the cold, so winter blend has a lower ethanol content. Winter blend can legally be as low as e51. The other 49% can be whatever the oil companies want it to be. I usually run pail ethanol cut with pump 93 when I drive the car in winter.

Have any of you tested ignite 114 vs c16?
Bad experience on pump gas, tuned by one of the tuners here. “Bad gas” was the excuse/cause. She s cool
And happy on ethanol now.
