Just sold my Hellcat due to a new to me Boss 302. It’s definitely not a replacement just wanted something more nimble. I will definitely be acquiring a Charger or a Trackhawk at some point down the road. I missed the supercharger whine so much I ordered a Whipple for the Boss.

Would have to be another Challenger that EASILY and I capitalized that, outperforms my current model. That's a pretty tall order from the factory, but a few years ago I didn't think we'd see 800HP cars off the show room floor.

I guess if I have to be honest, maybe the next Mid-engine Z06 would make me consider this. How about everyone else?

Me as well until I drove this thing! I am not sure now. I mean sure it will be fast and get bigger motor upgrades and corner like a sled on rails.

The Redeye is heavy and rides nice and can still perform. It feels like I am driving a fast tank with this baby if someone ever does run into me. The old school look is to die for and it gets tons of attention. I am sure Corvette will as well.

The Redeye is just to cool with the supercharger whine etc. And it is easy to get in and out of as well. Ground clearance is also just enough that I haven't had issues like when I had a Corvette. I am sure the Corvette I would want when it gets the bigger motor upgrades would be close double in price.

A newer model girlfriend is one thing but, a newer model to replace the wife.... OH SH*T. That can be very costly. The older model wife will generate a power surge never seen before, ripping your wallet out through your tailpipe, leaving what remains of your life up on blocks.

The car constantly reminds me of just how perfect it really is... flawless looks, functionality, comfort for 4 adults, hauls the groceries, tows my trailer, lays rubber, runs 10s... 28mpg highway...
The reality is that there were so many made, and will be available in the used market for decades to come, I'd be foolish to think something better wasn't right around the corner and if not I could just buy another one (or 2).

Each car that I've ever missed before it couldn't stack up to it, but they were unique in their own way. I'll miss this one when the lease is up, but it'll hopefully be replaced with something better.

Plus I think the m6 will be a hard find in the next few years and beyond. I can’t say I won’t want or get the next gen (hellcat only) but not convinced I’ll trade this one. Similar. Sold mine for the Atom. Mostly did so because my wifey kind of put her foot down, "We do NOT need five cars!"

She tolerates me... so I honored her wishes. Didn’t want to get rid of Hellcat.... but of all the vehicles we have, HC made the most sense to sell. I ~WILL~ have another some day...... soon....
