What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

Which kinda leads us right back to the divorce talk again.
My girlfriend has five cars all by herself (okay, one's a pickup), and I have far more than that.

Besides, what does "need" have to do with anything?

Only thing I would consider trading my hellcat for would be a McLaren 720s.

But if I could afford one of those, I'd probably have enough $$ that i wouldn't need to trade anything in...

A 76-78 Pontiac Trans Am. I have always loved the car, and never have owned one. My brother worked for GM Pontiac Div. He had two. as a teenage boy at the time it was out of my league. Insurance would have been impossible. I did get to drive his, and to me it was the best driving car I have ever sat in. Not the best performer! but the best driving car.

She tolerates me... so I honored her wishes. Didn’t want to get rid of Hellcat.... but of all the vehicles we have, HC made the most sense to sell. I ~WILL~ have another some day...... soon....

2018 Jeep Wrangler = Paid for, wife’s daily driver <- must keep or I will be murdered
2015 Ram CTD Dually = Paid for, tow rig <- pull toys
2015 Ariel Atom = the new thing adding to the stable
2017 Corvette = Paid for, heavily invested in cooling, brakes, wheels <- more fun than hellcat on track; wont get much back on money which was invested
2017 Hellcat = NOT paid for, best around town car, fun on track (but not the MOST fun) <- other cars are more fun on track and can eliminate big payment.

Not all things make sense I suppose.... But this is what I worked out in my head.

It just so happens that there's a new (never sold) Porsche 918 in Colorado Springs.
With a rating of 67 mpg, it may work for you?

Its funny you say that, I have a friend here in Raleigh that has one. He lets me drive things from time to time, 488, 458 Speciale, GT2/3 RS, and so on. But I havent taken his 918 out yet. But when I was typing my post about the mpg, his 918 went through my mind. Hey you, get outta my mind

Darn it. I may have to get something more powerful, whether I want to or not.
My girlfriend just informed me that the new 911 Turbo S will have 641 hp.

That means she'll order one, and I'll be first loser again...except, maybe, in top speed.

I haven't kept track of what's coming from Dodge. Is there a 1,000 hp Challenger on the horizon? I hope so.

This summer I took a hard look at the C8 but I just don't want to take a 200 HP hit to get a mid engine car even though my focus is road courses. But now the GT500 has my attention. Just not sure I want to start new car payments like that again.
If I get something else in that price range my current car would have to go. I don't have the budget of some of you on here.
