Dogs don't make good patients normally.and they will bite your nads off if you don't watch them close! Lol. they don't quite get the bit that your just trying to help!

Jake has a great disposition. One of his rehab requirements is that I manipulate his leg in a bicycling motion. I did it three times today and he tolerated it well. Hopefully that remains the case.

My favorite dog was a 1/4 wolf malamute. Great dogs. W the world in her she would not bark. Just once in a blue moon howl. She would also look where you pointed, not at your finger.

A few years ago my first grade teacher came into one of my businesses. She looked just like she did then except for wrinkles and her hair was white. Same hair do same clothes. Same personality.

She was really a great person. Hope she is still trucking.

No doubt. He looks at me with that cone getting caught on everything he walks by and goes “WTF”. I’ll probably have to take him to a chiropractor before this is over.

Yea, he’s not his normal happy self. The fentanyl patch and Gabapentin are keeping him pretty much pain free. But that cone pisses him off. He’s pulled it off twice. Poor guy keeps hanging it up on everything.

I think they are trying to get it off. My Shepard was deliberately jamming it into everything and had almost destroyed it when I gave in and removed what was left of it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but when I was a kid my mom used to send me to the convenience store to buy cigarettes for her, with a note to the store that it was OK.

I hadn’t thought about that, but maybe something to consider. Being a hound he likes to sniff. Poor guy can’t take four steps in the yard without jamming it into the ground.

Maybe I'm older as I didn't need a note.🤷😂
That or it was ok to sell smokes to a 8yr old.🤔
I also had about a 2 or 3 mile walk to school in kindergarten. That wouldn't fly these days.
