sounds like you guys are selling stocks which if you were I'm all for making money and walking away. I didn't buy my car to try to make money or even break even. My Hellcat is worth more to me then how much money someone is saying they will give you for it. 50k sitting in a bank account isn't happiness but what you do with that money can be. Money does buy happiness in the form of buying a Hellcat

At this point I have an offer for $102,650 for two of the 4-doors (a '14 Ram 1500 and the 'Hawk) so you better decide within a day or two.
By the way, that leaves me with only one 4-door, a Ram 3500, which I'm not selling. Unless I buy a 4500.

Ok.......Carvana showed up on time. The guy was driving a Prius, so I wondered how he was gonna take both cars. They are doing so much business that they don't have enough company rollbacks to deal with it all, so they have contracted out 3rd party tow companies to pick up vehicles for them.

The guy had all the paperwork ready to go, he explained it all to me. They had all the places marked that I needed to sign.

His test drive consisted of starting my car, listening to it idle while we talked, then he pulled the car forward about 15 ft, and backed it up. That was it. He got my title and paid me electronically (which I requested vs getting a paper check). I got a confirmation text and email from Carvana telling me that my money had been sent.

The guy put a lockbox on my drivers side window, like they do at the car lot, and told me someone would come by and get the car today.

We exchanged niceties and he left.

Total time of sale and payment, no more than 10 minutes.

The tow truck came and got my car within an hour of him leaving.

So I would say that the experience with them was positive.


Round 2 with my truck tomorrow.
