Only have 120 miles so far, so still have not been above 2500 rpm, good thing is can barely hear supercharger whine already!!! first thing to be done is for sure Ceramic Coat! I do hope this thing is worth that much more $$$ when compared to the '18 SRT 6.4 Durango, because that thing HAULED ASS, best 0-60 with launch was 4.2 sec. Im having a hard time trying to love the wheels on the Hellcat, but they are growing on me, what u guys think?

First..... congrats on the car and the color. Only having seen pictures.., hard to say on the wheels but I agree, I expected something a little more “special” for those. Down the road I’ll bet you will be looking at wheel options. I’m thinking gunmetal with a little more distinct styling.

One of the beat things on Hellcat engine is the SC whine - I love it!!! I find myself revving it for just that reason !!
I tend to agree with you on the wheels, but I am a fan of almost all the other Hellcat / Demon / Redeye wheels, so it might be I am just attached to those wheels too much...

Wheels don’t look bad being it’s the SUV hot rod family hauler. I think they will grow on you and looks good IMO.

Thanks everyone, i didnt know this forum existed before yesterday when i was just trying to see if i was the first one to take delivery, but you guys are great!!! and NO, no discount for the pics, but i DID buy it at MSRP, and they gave me good trade-in on my SRT 6.4, those 2 things were in my stipulations when we first started talking about ordering. im just curious, does anyone on here with a hellcat happen to know if they are in a "break-in" mode or a "limited boost" mode for first few hundred miles (even though im taking it REALLY easy on it anyway)? and yes, the whole thing was nasty, but i told them no clean-up, but now i have made it all spotless, ready for ceramic coat.

There is no break boost limit, except for your foot.

I do believe launch control is disabled for the first 500miles?

Don’t take my word for it, but I’m with Cole^^ go out and enjoy it. No reason to break these things in. You either got a good one or you didn’t.
BTW - I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how well it bets up and goes compared to that 6.4 - or anything else for that matter.

Mine is due to be shipped to the dealer in 2 weeks...ordered like my icon here...but it was a real effort for the company to honor my order placed 11/30/20...seems many were sent to a few large dealers and had to work through a regional sales rep and Stellantis to finally get the order back on track...Have fun with yours!

no,when i talked to the dealership 2 months before order opening, i told them i had 2 stipulations, one was that NOONE touches the vehicle until i get there the same day it is delivered, the other is that i will pay FULL STICKER, and NO bump, and they totally agreed, Friendship CDJR in Bristol Tennessee was totally awesome to deal with. They also had a very hard time actually getting Dodge to send the vehicle to them, even though mine was ordered within 5 minutes of when dodge opened their site to order to the dealers. dbol777, i hope you receive yours and it is built as you ordered, i came close to ordering that color combo, but Pearl White is just easy to take care of, especially now that i have Graphine coated mine. Also now have almost 700 miles, and started running a little harder, only pulls in 4th gear and up, feels good so far, but so did my '18 SRT Durango which i loved. only have seen 9 psi so far...what is normal for HCs from everyone else?

FINALLY.....IT IS HERE!!!! We had a 2018 SRT Durango 6.4 in High Octane, absolutely LOVED it in EVERY way, never regretted the $68,180 for a second, then we heard there COULD....POSSIBLY be a bigger, badder Durango coming...So we made a good friend at best CDJ dealer around, stopped week after week, telling him we were 100% sure we wanted one. So, when order opened on November 5th, the order specialist at "Friendship CDJ" called me and we clicked all boxes i wanted ordered, and 15 minutes after orders opened, he sent it through, and we received it on 3-17-21, straight off of the truck, with NOONE touching vehicle except me. With only around 2000 being made, and only ONE year of production, i hope to be one of VERY few lucky people that got to order exactly what they wanted, and took delivery with NOONE else even sitting in vehicle!!! Its options are Vice White Pearl, Premium Interior with suede and forged carbon fiber, Red seatbelts, Rear Seat Dual DVD players, and Harmon Kardon surround sound system.

Congrats on the new ride. I remember throwing the SRT-8 Durango around at Bondurant and I was impressed with that setup. The Hellcat Durango has to be amazing. Check out Throttle House’s review on YouTube!

well guys.....the day finally came.....680 miles......did launch control at 2000 rpm, spun all FOUR 295mm wide tires for 30-40 feet, grabbed 2nd and hooked, hit 0-60 in a long 3.8 seconds two times in a row!!! feels totally different than the srt 6.4, the hellcat is actually smoother and seems less violent, but pushes so hard back into seat, hard to hold head up! didnt have the balls to turn up rpm yet. did hit 11 psi on dash, but was a very cool day.....which is why traction was my problem. the sounds out exhaust when at WOT in launch control is awesome....then all hell breaks loose!
