if Dodge wants to be able to sell cars to these countries and states that are going away from ICE sales in the next 10-14 years, they need to go electric. As I said once before, they aren't making cars for people like us, they are making cars for states like California

I agree but why do we care about states like CA & what they think or do, they have F***ed up that whole state on everything, I hope Dodge doesn't follow suite ?

I am interested to see how this does, EV's can be very fast but with what down falls.

Should the new Charger be bad ass looking and bad ass fast like 150 1/4 mile 8 second car then what😳. And WTF happens to the ICE values would be my curious speculation. I mean come on you have a factory car that just smokes everything for the most part wow beyond wow. And talk about feeling like King 😂. Yeh yeh I know it’s the greenies agenda but thank god Dodge wants to abuse the shit out of it and peel your eyelids back😁

For 2 miles, then recharge for 2 hours...all while hoping it doesn't burst into flames.

Give me a 6 second 1/4 mile car, with an actual real world range of 600 miles, and a recharge time from 0 to 100% in 15 minutes, and I'll consider it if its reliable to.

Looking at the KPI's they posted you gotta believe they will make them on a smaller platform. AWD muscle...not for me. I've owned a few AWD, high powered cars (V10 R8 & BMW 650). They hook and accelerate but I missed the straight up RWD experience.

I shopped my Redeye through Vroom, KBB, and Carvana this week to check on $$$. Considered selling to knock down the mortgage (retirement can shift priorities). Result...Carvana needs to have "an expert" review...never heard back. KBB came in 5K more than I paid for the car. Vroom came in $400 less than KBB.

Took the car to a KBB authorized dealer for evaluation and they immediately added $1000 to the offer. Until the announcement I was seriously considering selling and being "responsible". Now...won't be able to replace it with a new one, Sublime was a 1 year widebody color, my car is mint condition. Tough call. I was considering getting a new Busa for fun and paying down the mortgage with the balance.

I will explore selling some of my small watch collection today as an alternative. Like my car...all mint and will get immediate attention.

I lived through the first end of the musclecar. This one has been outstanding but with electric as the new standard it will be the last hurrah for hardcore gas powered muscle. EV performance will be strong but it just ain't the same. Long live the Hemi.

In 20 years it could be a million dollar car...so smart move to keep it.
I'm planning to order 5 cars later today or tomorrow.
More as an investment than anything else. I'll enjoy them till I am too old to care about driving them anymore, and then sell them as retirement funds.

Speaking of generators, after the freeze here in Feb. & freezing my ass off with out electricity for a week, I bought & installed a 13kw Generac in April, now as long as the natural gas stays on I'm good.

However, you need to convince people to go electric if that is your political agenda etc. Not going to convince people that electric is better when cars like the 800hp RE and 760HP GT500 are still being made.

It would be dumb idea to slap down HP/speed ratings on these cars right now.

I agree. The agenda now is to eliminate fossil fuels and ICE and replace with electric. Then, their next agenda will kick in - eliminate electric because they haven't increased the electric grid capacity for all the chargers, and replace with bicycles.

The truck comes automatically 3 times a year, and if you are on the delivery list, it just comes by while in the area and tops off the tank(s).

I'm looking into 2 100 lb. LP tanks to have as back up to the NG. Then if needed it just takes switching a valve on the line & at the Generac & it's on LP.
