As much as I hate to even suggest looking at Hellcat.org, if you do there's a lengthy thread on the subject.
"Redeye owners..." I think it's called.

There you can read about build and ship times, plus various trials and tribulations that many of the ordered cars went through.
While it's not a new thread, not much seems to have changed, so there's much to be learned. Patience would be on top of the list, I think, closely followed by not believing what chat predicts.

After sitting post inspection for 2 weeks, my HC was just shipped out on rail. Tentative ETA next Monday!!

I think going to the upfit center for WB or stripes adds a fair chunk of time.

Just checked on my Redeye Widebody in Sublime, chat says built not inspected, no eta on ship date. Build sheet is available but not window sticker

That’s a good feeling to know your car is read and soon to be on its way to a Dealer near you. In my case..the car is in KZL status in Troy MI ready and waiting to be shipped. The problem is there’s a car hauler STIKE in MI. So no cars are moving via truck. I live in Ohio so don’t think it’s going to be put on a train. In you case, who knows. GOOD luck!

The problem is there’s a car hauler STIKE in MI. So no cars are moving via truck. I live in Ohio so don’t think it’s going to be put on a train. In you case, who knows. GOOD luck!

I don't know, don't you need a truck to get it to the train though? I suspect that will slow everyone down...

It’s only a 4hr drive from Troy MI to Columbiana Ohio. The Dealer said they have 5 other cars stuck in the same storage lot waiting to be shipped/trucked.

Oh crap, I hope this gets sorted out ASAP....this is crappy news! Do all the cars come through Troy MI after coming across the border before moving on?

Got an E-mail from SRT Friday that said my Hell Cat was at Budd Yard. It also said there were three more legs to its' journey...not sure what those would be...but it feels better knowing that it has moved!!!

Got confirmation my car has reached it's final destination railyard...but the dealer says it could be another week until it's ready to pick up

Got an E-mail from the dealer today. They said the car has left the factory (duh) and that I should see it by end of October, beginning of November...certainly not as quickly as I'd like...but better than Christmas!!

YIKES.....I sure hope my turnaround is faster than that....my goodness.....I was originally quoted 4 - 6 weeks, went D1 like 3 days after ordering, but a week after that still D1 no build date scheduled according to Customer care. Customer care was saying 8 - 10 weeks but since I check in daily they started telling me to check weekly.....lol Geesh!

Well....at this point the only thing I was banking on was the fact that 2020 model year has to start soon (mid to late November was what I had heard) so I figured I would have my car at least by Thanksgiving......we will see.....who knows maybe Dodge will convert my order to a 2020 hahaha
