What features/options would you like to see in the next Hellcat?

Here’s my really petty list. I think the car is close to perfection already.

Auto up windows on the Challenger
Forward camera
A real backup camera to replace the POS that we have now.
Waze built in to the radio or at least the option to download appps.
Heated seats that actually get more than luke warm.

Get a Charger... the heated seats in mine will roast your ass if you're not careful. I'll spare ya'll the pictures of my roasted ass.

You my friend have a rare one. I’ve had two 2015+ Challengers now and both had luke warm heated seats. My steering wheel gets twice as hot as my seats. My wife’s late model Lincoln suv is the same. I’m convinced the newer cars all have the same luke warm heated seat temps. Must be some king of liability involved.

uh huh, and why do m4,m6, c63 all have power passenger seats? and they have a power tilt function to help passengers in the backseat, even regular 4 series and c class coupes have the option to get it. Please don't defend fca's cheapness lol.

Def not defending cheapness. I’m against it too. I had in the past been a huge whiner about no power passenger seats and read those were the reasons. Maybe those reasons are just Latin for cheapness lol. Although the Charger has it if I’m not mistaken so I was believing them because of that.

I agree with you on the steering wheel. Mine gets so hot that I can't even use it. My wife's 2017 Charger Hellcat steering wheel though doesn't get nearly as hot.

• Adaptive cruise control option for all models
• Stop making navigation and an 8.4 inch uconnect an option on a 70k car.......
• Better stock Audio system, 6 speaker is ridiculous and nobody wants to pay 2k for a HK system that needs upgraded amps (AND HAS SHITTY SOUND)
• Auto up windows on the Challenger
• Forward camera
• A real backup camera to replace the POS that we have now.
• Waze built in to the radio or at least the option to download apps.
• Hand brake
• Stronger rods
• Less weight
• A way to put the car in neutral without having to remove the coin tray and pull the emergency release

• Adaptive active ride height (Speed-bumps versus high-speed capability)
• Selectable mode active-aero front/rear (splitter/spoiler)
• ****ing seat/mirror memory
• Ability to display more data on the radio than we currently do, perhaps a taller display like on the new Rams, or something, I can never have enough of the right stuff up... I want a cockpit full of glass (Reference almost any modern aircraft)
• IFF radio
• AN/APG-77
• AIM-120C
• M61A2
• Better blue paint color (Something in between the B5 and Indigo blue)
• Michelin PS4S tires stock
• H.O. button
• 426 C.I. / 2.9L option in an upgraded M6 (or even an M7)
• Integrated flairs on the WB Challenger (LIKE ON THE NEW CHARGER DAMN IT!)

🤣🤣🤣, I'm just saying if a 70k m4/c63 has it then why not a challenger. the power tilt features takes like 15-20 seconds, not as fast as manual but pretty damn fast.

Sorry but I have to laugh . Ahhh the world we live in . Lol

A lot of these options would make the car even heavier . But some of you want lighter weight .

My heated seats could cook a steak.

My back up camera is fantastic I bet it's almost 4K ( I don't have the specs in front of me)

I don't need a power passenger seat . I drive the car in the driver's seat.

I don't get the big deal about auto up windows

AWD in a car is just weird to me . Real cars are RWD . If I wanted AWD I'd buy a trackhawk

I don't actually know what the options you guys want on the display are but I'm happy with nav, performance pages , and srt mode . I don't use the rest any way .


The only option I want is this bad a$$ cat on my display when I start the car !

I pose a question that will surely draw some interesting responses. When will the Challenger abandon the retro look? It’s been incredibly successful, but it will go away at some point. Will it happen with the new platform? I know it’s blasphemy and maybe I should be stoned to death.

Only a few things.
I think HUD should be standard across the board. I think they could also take a page out of Porshe book. I know they are $100k plus for a reason, but they are experts at extracting $ with options...make avail full leather dash, carbon fiber or brushed aluminum bits through the interior, etc.
Otherwise biggest issue I see is tires and widebody execution. I think HCs should be avail with sheetmetal flares and stock rear with 325+. Again, sheetmetal flares, keeping the basic retro style could be beautiful. Again, see Porsche...

I would love to see a better black color option. Something with a metallic flake. Interesting side note...not many people clamoring for more power.

backup cam is awful lol, 360 cameras would be nice for parking.

heated seats are fine for me at least

charger has power passenger seat,why not challenger? other 70k cars with backseats have power tilt functions.

auto up one of those small features that's convience.

awd is weird??? lol, challengers are fine without them but the charger should have awd like the new m5/e63, they can go full rwd mode at the touch of a button, much more sophisticated than the trackhawks system but still retains the ability to do burnouts in the box at the strip. I don't agree with the weight thing for the charger, large 4 door sedan that weighs as much as the m5/e63, both cars with less hp, same weight, and awd drop consistent 0-60s in the low 3 seconds and roughly the same 1/4 miles when the hellcat isn't on radials. With a proper launch control and setup the hellcat not the redeye should be dropping high 2s low 3s on the street and the redeye dips into supercar territory in mid to high 2s (2.6-2.8) Traction is a huge limiting reagent in this equation.

At the end of the day this is a want thread, nobody at fca is watching and it's really a way to vent for most who love the car but wish they could change it a bit.

The Porsche Sonderwunsch department will coat your entire interior in leather, for a price. Dashboard, GAUGE FACES, EVERYTHING. Anything you want to pay for, they can do.
God forbid the Krauts come out with a muscle car.
