i was going to get another case yesterday for 41.XX with subscription and the damn price flipped back up before i could finish checkout. i called to complain and gave me some song and dance about it being out of stock and to check back in a few days

All this hunting and coupon clipping is why I just buy Mobil1 Euro 0W40 and Wally World for $4/qt and call it a day.

I have an on-line submission pending from about 3 weeks ago, nothing yet. Actually surprised it took it - every time in the past was rejected for some stupid technicality, like i didn;t buy from the correct vendor, etc. but Amazon was on the list this year

This, all day. Oil is oil. I got a deal on penzoil because they ran out of mobil-1 at autozone but as soon as mobil-1 is back in, that's what I'll be running again.

I had one go through on an Amazon purchase I made in April, no problem at all. Put it right back into an Amazon gift card for the next round...

me too. I have been kind of paranoid the last few months - I check the pricing daily and have seen a lot of price swings and somewhat odd inventory rushes that caused me to pull my hair trigger a few times. I guess an occasional silver lining was when Amazon went down to 41.XX for like an hour and I happened to see it, but only bought 1 case. I saw Amazon go up to over $100/case a week ago. and then 1185 had a run on its inventory as a result, and has been offline until it came back today at 49.49. very strange

I'm with you - MOBILE 1 is in the car now. But I'm having problems finding it at Wally World (or anywhere else in my area) and this was a decent deal - would be even better if I could get the discount.
