It was obvious from the start that the light weight tube chassis drag cars had a huge advantage over the heavy street cars. Duh 🙄. Yet the heaviest by far.. won. Both Herman and the guy in the Barracuda missed the 2-3 shift as they were starting to gap their opponents (including the guy who won). The biggest disappointment was the orange Lancer. That thing was cool and should have hauled but the driver didn’t have a clue on what she was doing. I do think last years champ should have had to go rounds. The free pass until the final race was BS.

Not sure what you’re asking. Herman made some full passes that looked fast. Don’t know that he could have handled the Plymouth or Barracuda on a good run but he was probably faster than everybody else. Thing from a strategy point was by the time a bunch of test passes were run, the stock Hellcat clutch was toast and missed shifts when it counted cost two of the fastest cars there their chance at the final.

I was not familiar with the girl who was last year’s winner driving the 50’s Plymouth. She’s a pro disguised as a little cutie. She drives a Pro Mod that runs over 200 in the 1/8 for crapsake. It was interesting leading up to the final. Everybody is all talking and distracted by the fanfare and she’s in the car with the door closed going thru the gears and getting into her race head. Lol. That guy didn’t stand a chance.

She's definitely a pro. Runs the drag and drives in her 200mph hot rod. If I remember, it's a 55 Chevy that looks like a shit box.

Most of the racers who get in these drag and drive events are youtube and social media personalities. Leaves very little for the average person. I've given up trying to get in.

She only won last year because the other guy jumped the start. He asked to do another race for fun and beat her. Her game plan was to hook so they tubbed out her car and added big tires. His had common wheels for a Hellcat

I did see pics of the 55 lifting the wheels testing at Milan. I think the car they built was fast
