I know. You missed my point that I only got 11 seconds, actually not even that, until it started pulling back power.
You guys watch those tenths of seconds. That is why I respect everyone of you. Plus I got a genius who owns a Redeye and drag races who is tuning it.

Mine was laying over at 1/8 mile. Nothing like watching cars fly by you
Yep, where I see that is the boat quits gaining between the corners. When it runs correct there is hardly squat it won’t catch or pass. Especially on the big straights at BIR and RA.

Oh who shut down the SC? Last year when they replaced the motor, I don’t know what calibration they put in it. But the SC whine was way down in sound. Now it is back way up in sound. Even at low and partial throttle, it is very different.
Forgot about the motor replacement. So you feel that the new motor had a de-tuned tune (so to speak) compared to what was on the car originally?

Forgot about the motor replacement. So you feel that the new motor had a de-tuned tune (so to speak) compared to what was on the car originally?
These cars have a safety in them. If injector pulse width hits X then bleed bost to get back to a safe range. We don’t change that
We fix the issue that is making out the fuel injectors in the cars. These cars go so rich to cool the cats the injectors cannot handle it

Either the new one has run in hot air all the time or yes, something was different. The whine was less, the exhaust was louder. Who knows, the old one may have had a plugged converter from its early age when it threw the first s/c and they just replaced it. So it struggled until it died. BUT, the day before it died, I had my best day in it ever and remember I enjoyed it a lot. Next day, bam, destroyed itself without warning. Cloudy, cool, and I was not in TRACK mode, so the coolant circuit was NOT on for the first time lapping ever.

Never heard of him can’t be any good at tuning
I think we should start him out on horses and buggies before we let him in the big leagues 😁

He's currently working on plenty of horses and they're quite healthy from the reports that I'm getting.

I would also like to add that Knock sensors suffer additionally from resonance in the car. When I tune mine I have to take that into consideration. A high pitched squeal from a JLT intake, solid motor mounts or lack of an exhause can all cause the knock sensors to read artificially. A stiffened suspension like a diff brace, cradle lockouts and diff lockouts also cause vibrations through the chasis that will reach the block along the motor mounts. I log the following pids.
  • Total KR
  • STKR
  • LTKR (This is the one to look for
  • Knock Sensor 1 voltage
  • Knock Sensor 2 voltage
The worst offendor of all of these so far has been the solid motor mounts. Just fuck any little tap of my accelerator makes them go nutters. I know it's false because I was paranoid and did boroscope and compression tests.

In regards to tuning, I think @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC has his head on his shoulders. He gave me great advice when I was learning how to tune for E85.

No you’re not!
I probably should of ordered that 20 Super Stock. They had 1 allocation left and it was mine. $72K plus t&t but couldn't make a deal on the Charger.

That seems to be a common problem coming from redeye owners.
Didn't realize it was common. I thought I just got a dog. To be honest I was considering selling it.

Same with my regular Hellcat Charger. Kept having different shops look at it and kept getting told nothing was wrong.
