The Z06 isn't available to configure on Chevrolet's website. So, guessing on what the price will be is a mute point. The Z51 package is a package that you can add to the Stingray but that isn't near what the Z06 has to offer in performance upgrades. Pricing through GMAUTHORITY.COM is just a website that reports the news on GM products and until the Z06 is configured with the options you want to have on the car you're just guessing on what the out the door price will be.

If any of you are planning of getting a C8 Z06 do your research on what options you want before placing the order with the dealer, sitting in that chair in front of the salesman is not the place to be configuring the car. Or you can just wait for the ZR1 to come out!

I'm in line for an (MSRP) Z06 too and I am stoked. True track car and with flat plane crank at 8600 redline it's gonna be a lot of fun. That said, let's not get too crazy with the cheez whiz on predicting 1/4 mi times relative to things like the purpose-built Demon (and echh, Plaid). Z gonna lose those races, cuz...

As for the ZR1… It's going to be a twin-turbo and probably won’t have the exotic flat-plane crank v8 . It might even be a hybrid(wheel boosted). If that’s true I’d prefer the Z06!

The Z06 has always been my favorite of the late model Vettes. I am in line for an MSRP one at a smaller dealership that said they are expecting 2-3 of them a year. I think I am number 4 or 5. I don't remember. Was told very likely 2024. Seeing a 120k MSRP Challenger will have me run right for the Vette and not think twice

I totally understand! My dad was a drill instructor in the Marine Corp and fought in Okinawa, so I never made an attempt to try anything too stupid. He was tough as nails but gave me some good advice once..."No matter how tough you think you are, there's always someone out there that can kick your ass"

Never swung back at my dad. Even with that broken back from Benning he could take care of himself; huge biceps etc... lol, I remember a friend of mine came to the house (he played ball and did steroids and stupid shit like that). When we left as we're walking to the car he looks at me and says "Man, I'm never fucking with your dad!"
