To me it looks like ford wants to get a piece of the Jeep market, I think they realized Jeeps sell. Not that they are in the same ring.

I almost bought a classic Bronco a few years ago and other than this not having a V8 it's ticking boxes. Comes with a 2.7L TT V6 making like 330hp and 415ft/lb I think.

If they stuffed a small V8 with small blower or turbo in that Jeep like ride it would sell like hot cakes. Ford slammed V8 on their grill 3 generations ago. Did they loose there roots.

The smaller one is the Bronco Sport.

I have a line on a 95 Bronco Eddie Bauer model right now. It's in excellent shape. The problem is they have it priced not too far from the price of a new one.

I got to check out a Bronco Raptor on Monday while I was at my local Ford dealer. They let me check it out. I wish they hadn't. I wish they had told me to avert my eyes and don't even look in it's direction. They could've said no when I asked if I could check it out.....but they didn't. They told me to check it out and climb on in. I did. It was awesome.

If you just buy what they have in inventory, they are adding a $5-$7k adm on those.

Hell, the regular Coyote 5.0 without a blower would make this thing really nice.

After watching multiple YT videos with guys wheeling these things, I can see why some stock stuff breaks.

Of course, the aftermarket has jumped at the opportunity to help solve some of those issues.

I haven't seen any videos of any TRX's doing the degree of rock crawling these folks are doing. It's almost like they're intent on busting their rigs.
