I just asked who tuned it, simple question. If you are not close to mid 9s with what you have then sometimes that answers the question why

Yep no worries man. Tune was part of the issue for sure, along with poor manifold design on whipple’s part. Would not seal, was warped. Got it to seal with spacers, but had other issues with tuner after

In November I may make my way that way. But April I already have the races I want to make planned. May is kind of open. June I think street car take over is all I have planned. July i have 2 weekends booked and same with august. Fall is more open. That’s just race plans.

9.50s on a 2.69 pulley might be asking a lot. Best I ever did on a 2.72 was 9.70. DA wasn't stellar (+800) but track prep was good. That was on 109 unleaded race fuel. Switched to E85 after that but never got a good DA/prep day to see what it gained and I was patient for like 2 years

I figure with the 2.7 blower 9.50s will come easier but prep at my local track is a crap shoot. Pisses me off really.
