Nice! What’s the word on the 3.0?
It’s sitting NIB yet from return from Whipple. Contemplating selling it to fund a 3.8 and if not waiting on Satera to put out a clutched pulley for it because my over rev between 3rd and 4th is much lower now, I think the blower was dragging the rpm up when I would clutch in. Shifting at 65-6600 revs would peak at 71-7200 between the shift, now not topping 6800.

I didn’t like that idea either (center of lid), I was referring to an old pic you posted where you used some wire through the fuel rail bolt holes
Yep, I knew which one you where referring too. I may have a pic around of the black vinyl coated cables and eyebolts I use now somewhere. I’ll look for it and post it if I find it. I posted the part numbers from McMaster Carr in my fuel rails Thread I think with pictures

Definitely was causing rpm to climb, my 4.5 whipple did that with my m6. What’s a 3.8??

Whipple 3.8 liter SC, it’s for sale now, HHP has them.

$9k is pretty steep. Wonder if these will have the same issues.

They just were released to the public. I could get one for around 78, they should last longer because you don’t have to spin them as fast to get the boost you need. But on the stock displacement motor, there’s no running gasoline with one. You can’t put a big enough pulley on it to make boost low enough for gasoline on a stock displacement engine.

In my personal experience removing the blower was no big deal. Putting it back on is what I found tricky. Some kind of tool like this would make that easy peasy.

Hey speedy tell me that after 4 back surgeries and 69 years old. When I was younger no problem but not anymore. 😆
