~1,000,000units / ~3,000dealers = ~300+ units per dealer.

That seems unrealistic, but I don't doubt for a second that orders have exceeded production capacity.

(And that people are going to get screwed)

If like myself, you are one of the many waiting to hear about your order for a new Challenger Redeye Jailbreak AND especially if you have a 5N7 sales code and a BG Order Status, Dodge is probably NOT going to be able to fill these orders. And in fact these orders will eventually have to be canceled by the factory mostly due to supply issues and limited production capability.

Dodge completely misread the overwhelming demand for these cars! They were planning on building less than 50 thousand and now they have orders for over a MILLION! They simply DO NOT HAVE the parts to make that many cars. And there is no way they can go back and re-start the supply chain all over again, that would take years and they wouldn't do it anyway on models they are DISCONTINUING! I know this applies to the Challengers but I don't know about the Chargers but I suspect the same problem.
It looks like the vast majority of us still waiting for our Challenger Redeye Jailbreaks are going to get an unscheduled colonoscopy!

I know a lot of people will wonder how I found out about this but I can only say it came from a final decision at a recent (Executive) board room meeting.
(I'm not at liberty to say any more about my source so don't bother asking).

I’ll one up that. Got a well modified 2019 REWB that can kick ass, and is one of the club’s Jellcat of the Year. The first $300,000 OBO takes it, and I’ll throw in a 20’ tilt flatbed trailer.

They don't even make a million units for the f150 aka "best selling truck" you think they have 1 million orders for these cars? 🤣🤣, If you believe that I got a nice lot in Manhattan to sell you for 50k.

There are still allocations on the locator available, my best guess is that dodge is avoiding building unallocated units in favor of rewarding smaller dealers with the opportunity to get hellcats, you know the dealers in butt f*ck nowhere that are run by Billy bob and his cronies that don't really wanna sell hornets in 2024.

The whole allocated/unallocated system is a giant mess, and I wonder how much actual demand there would be if anyone could go to any dealer and order one, because I guarantee you that if allocations did not exist these big dealers like koons and chapman would be doing under invoice deals.

I almost feel like dodge is creating their own scarcity of units to drum up demand, throw dealers a bone with adm, and make sure they are able to empty the parts bin without ordering too many extras.
