Anyone have the Alfa settings to disable active exhaust?

I "think" the place to adjust that is in the actual tune, not the BCM and Challengers already have it turned off. Chargers have it enabled (I think). Maybe Charger owners are more "refined" than us Challenger guys lol.

Correct except the turned off part. It only gets turned off in certain modes. You will find the tables simply by typing active exhaust in the search. Set all values to 100 and the valves will be permanently open.

No, I’m talking about disabling it in the BCM so when you remove the valves you don’t get a light

@fumanchu182 there's a "default position" for bank 1 bank 2 and Track and all of those are 100% in a stock Challenger tune I have. I'm not sure how those impact the table values you're referencing. I may have to set all my tables to 100% just to test it.

@Unholy707 Ah gotcha.

I’m all for turning things for for next to nothing that companies charge hundreds of dollars for modules to simulate the signal when you can just shut it off.

In my stock tune they are not all set to 100. Wonder if its an emissions/sound/year thing.

I checked a 2015 M6 and 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 A8. All had this setting at 100%. These were all Challengers. I don't have many Charger files to look at.

What I don't know is if this 100% setting is all the time, under certain conditions, or over rides anything in the tables.

If you go into the Bank 1 and 2 buttons there are tables you can modify to have what percentage the valves are open at based on RPM and I believe throttle input. I had to set mine to 100% open all the time as the valves in my exhaust rattle if they're anything other than 100% open. It sounds like absolute ass. I finally sucked it up and ordered a valveless exhaust.

These were the tables I was talking about, thank you for illustrating them!

Just to clarify my previous post as I just looked at my tuning laptop, the tables are RPM and Engine Torque. What I did with mine is set all the tables to 100 in normal, sport, MDS, and drive by and that keeps the valves open all the time.

Happy I found this thread, I’m having an issue with my 2017 Charger (P1217) so i would like to turn off active exhaust. You guys mentioned table settings, where would I go to adjust these? Sorry, I’m so green in this area, lol.
Thanks!

You’d have to shut it off with Alfa or get eliminators, that’s what I’m trying to find out
