yes, they confirmed this weekend, that at least they are looking way out near the airport at some sites - that is GREAT news for the sport, but the cynic in me still says as I did up above, don't hold your breath. The Bandimeres' don't owe drag racing anything especially after a 65-year run, and I can imagine with the amount of $ they are getting for their current property will set the family up in pretty good shape should they be tired of the BS in running a race track. It takes a very special (and arguably sick ;-)) person/people/family to want to be in the race track business in this day and age - gotta be in it for the love first, and then try and make it work financially.
