Next gen Dodge cars will have ICE, PHEV, and EV options

Don't know if this was posted yet or not, but the next gen Dodge cars will have a variety of powertrain options. Now this doesn't say ICE but if you recall the press release for the Hurricane engines said those engines where the primary engines for the STLA L and Frame vehicles. And then you read the wording from Unifor contract , it says INCLUDING PHEV and BEV capability. So we will see ICE and then the PHEV Hurricane I've reported years ago was having issues and EV's, will probably come sometime after the ICE cars come. The Chrysler Airflow is also going to be made there, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of volume Dodge will have with the next gen vehicles.

Probably because it needed to be retooled anyway which won't see it building vehicles again until late 2025.

I've also heard a rumor that "cars" have been going doing the Windsor assembly line. If true that would likely be pre-prod/pilot cars.

Who else has a hard time wrapping their head around, the car manufacturers going all in on producing electrified vehicles ? If the government AKA YOU ! weren't subsidizing them to the gills with mafia payout money, these manufacturers wouldn't be spending billions of dollars on an unproven technology. They continue to cover up the environmental impacts thinking the public that buys into the green new deal will overlook the increasing bad impact on disposal . Now that they have gone down that Rabbit hole, there is no turning back.

Windsor is about 70% bigger floor space than Brampton. Allows them to produce a variety of models on one line. Windsor will make the Pacifica, Charger 2dr/4dr/PHEV/EV, and Airflow EV all at one plant, sounds like they are trying to be efficient with several vehicles that will share a lot of parts.
