When the core of your business is based on a lower price and lower credit score buyers it makes a difference. Most high end buyers turn their noses up when it comes to these brands.
Talked to a GM buddy of mine for a dealership on Friday. I asked him how things were going and he said "as good as can be expected in this economy". I asked if interest rates were slowing sales and he said "for sure". He didn't elaborate more but his tone wasn't positive.
