Not if you have them rotated at every 6 month service !

Mine have a grease fitting, I have a grease gun that has an extra long nozzle to reach the bearing since it’s back so far from the tip. Helps snake through the rear resonators as well. Never had to rotate them - grease every 6 months keeps them in good shape

Good that everyone's on top of this, would hate to be drawn into never ending threads about how they wore out too quickly & are so expensive to replace !

I also have it on good authority (TK himself !) that you should rotate the SC rotors at least annually. The finish tends to get 'chaffed' on the inlet side which can eventually cause them to be come unbalanced with catastrophic failure soon after.

No oil lasts forever, however the oil in the IHI SC (Mobil Jet Oil II) should last a very long time.

Ask them for documentation that indicates that there has been a change to the S/C maintenance saying that the oil is no longer lifetime and now has the (ridiculous) service interval of 15k miles....
