Back in my day they only provided skinnies! Have to wonder if they might be faster, probably no longer legal. Are you allowed to lathe cut the profile of the tires to minimize the contact area?

I’m not sure what rules they have now, been a long times since I was a scout.
I did have to epoxy a steel plate into the bottom to get the weight up. Supposed to be a max 5oz and I’ve got it at 4.95oz

Be careful of ground clearance, the track has (at it least used to) have a raised center and you need to be careful of undercarriage protrusions rubbing the center rail. You are better off drilling holes and adding lead shot and capping with bondo.

Took the death wheel to the rib on the back for header clearance - touched up with paint. Still real close on the front rib, though.

Thanks @DGatzby. It’ll get warm but my concern is it hitting under load/shifts. The back of the pipe going towards fire wall was actually touching - that problem has been solved
