Why didn't this forum take off before?

It keeps having issues they are panicking right now.

They may be thinking the system dropped a bunch of members. Software glitch.

So just a quick history about this site, the original site started off as a Wordpress site back in 2015 when I was driving my old Charger. It had a very archaic forum so traffic wasn't that great because of the awful forum layout. I was mainly using it to share Hellcat related news as a hobby. It wasn't until last year that I tried to revamp the forum by installing the current Xenforo software. However by that time the site wasn't ranking too well because of more established websites. Even though traffic was low, I kept it open because I enjoy chatting with the occasional member that registered and help out whenever I can since my dad is a mechanic. Fast forward to the last few days, there's been a big jump in traffic due to the dispute with the other community and the influx of new members. So I'm really glad to see this community being utilize as a means of bringing people together for a common interest. And just to be clear, I'm not a big corporation, just a one-man shop.

I use Tapatalk so easy signup and register. I have seen some other private sites sell and then get decimated with new forms, rules, members and tons of spam. Did I mention that’s why I use Tapatalk.

I saw them post basically begging people to stay. I had only been on it for 5 days so I’m unsure what I’m missing. Although I like the dark format, I know that much lol.

It’s truly pretty incredible how this Forum has been just sitting wide open for so many years and nobody from the new gang here ever heard of it till yesterday. And just shows you once you get comfortable with a really nice format and community it’s hard to look elsewhere. And just truly truly incredible Hellcat.org just drop kicked the whole Forum. Good news for us who have transferred over we have an opportunity to make this Forum better and hopefully a long term relationship to continue to build great relationships and stories for years to come. We truly are the pioneers of the conversation forums that stories may be told years from now on how the transition of people was by messaging and not talking. This forum for sure and should I say the former had incredible stories to say the least that kept us together and will keep us together.

Agreed and to help I just copied his signature and changed my signature over there as well. Figure the more people posting the same thing, the more people are likely to see where everyone is now going. I very much appreciate this place already! So glad it's owned by a private person, and not a greedy corp looking to cash in on spamming ads.
