I'm not sure but I can tell you that I side-stepped the clutch many a time and tried to either push the shifter through the dash or rip it out of the floor in the numerous 5.0L 5 speed Fords I had in the 80's and 90's. I even converted my '88 Cougar XR7 to a 5 spd when I put the crate motor in it. That particular car surprised quite a few people. I love driving a stick car, but the rush hour traffic in my area sucks a giant.....well....you know......so driving a stick car in that gets really old really fast. I'm so glad that I can work from home now 99% of the time.

It's too soon to make judgments on these cars head to head. We need real owner cars driven by the actual owners. There are plenty novice and advanced owner operator track hounds as there are magazine drivers or professionals.

After the C8 dyno'd at 1-million horsepower a few months back, I said stop. This is ridiculous. 😂

I have found the best real world tests are from actual owners who own both car models or 2 of 3 as any make bias is then eroded. I have found more real world data in the garage area at a Sebring HPDE, than from any magazine. YT vids are a mixed bag.
