OEM Redeye intake.

No need to go aftermarket.

LMI. It's a well designed intake for low pressure drop and the designer, Chris Harrigan has supported the Mopar community for a long time. That won me over.

I haven't found any significant gains over stock. I do believe that modding the box to add additional flow from front is more beneficial without the added heat soak from other CAI's, not to mention the hassle of block-offs to the top to keep it dry...besides, the OEM look usually leaves them wondering.

I use the CarlyleRacing Whiner intake, it sounds great, makes power and is on the fastest full interior hellcats in the world!

What I'm looking into now is can the stock air box supply enough air for a modified engine? That's what I need to test .

Most people don't realize that the heat isn't the issue, it's all about volume... that's what the Whiner intake was designed to provide... that's why it has a 5" inlet all the way to the TB and when you upgrade to a 112mm TB in the future it will still supply enough airflow.

My wife cleared me for an intake but on the other forum there were so many posts about degradation of performance and heat that I don’t know what to do. I’d like to hear blower more and maybe get a few HP but am just unsure. I certainly don’t want hotter air nor do I want to lose HP.
