He is a very outspoken proponent of designing these cars to not flip during wrecks. I am sure we will hear allot more on this.
After watching Coreys car hit him, I thought he was hurt bad.
As everyone has stated, its racing. I was sure rooting for him.
Heck, I wanted ANYONE to win other than Hamlin.

Since Monday nights crash... his condition reports were sketchy at best..very vague...I feared some sort of paralysis...he doesn't appear to have any broken bones...The simple fact he even survived that wreck is a testament to the safety features built into those cars...amazing doesn't begin to describe it...I shake my head every time I see the replay

The man must have dun his and families prayers many years ago. Pray forward and it worked. He knows the consequences of bump drafting by your self. Block and take the hit. I am sure sum otteah stupid rule will come out ,, like maybe restrictor plates for all tracks..

This is the nature of plate racing at these big tracks

No plate racing anymore, they have "Tapered Spacers" now in an attempt to make the racing more exciting by making the closing rate faster.
@Hunter, I was rooting for the same guy, anyone but Hamlin!!

That fluid was running like water. Had to be gas. I was amazed at the slow reactions of the fat guys with the extinguishers. With all their money how about some fast rig with foam? It was embarrassing and very scary.

@Magnified - I can't believe these guys are talking about a spoiled NASCAR racer like he is some sort of hero!
Pretending like his car accident is more important than the 100 other car accidents that actually killed people on that day.
This guy and his money are no more important than you and me!
1 guy crashes his car and they want immediate safety reform applied to all of the cars to make them safer. I didn't see them add any air bags to helicopters after Kobe died.
