Trying to gain some insight in purchasing a new 2019 hellcat charger

How's it going everyone? I hope ya'll are doing well during this crazy time. My name is Paul and I am a Dodge enthusiast in the process of buying a 2019 hellcat charger. Can someone please direct me towards the correct page to post questions about insurance questions as well as monthly payments. Thanks in advance.

I agree if you want a HC, go for a new one that's not been abused.

You need to shop for insurance. It will depend on many factors, i.e. your age, where you live, how much you drive it (weekend vs. daily), parked during winter months, your credit rating, any previous accidents/claims, single or multicar, home and auto. While shopping, ask the agent what the factors are.

Do you plan to lease or buy? If lease, for how many months? Did you get the Power Bucks discount? What is the dealer discount? How much (if any) is your down payment? What is your monthly budget for your HC?

What is your Out the Door Price? Once you know this, then you can shop for money and decide lease/buy; Chrysler Capital, a bank, a credit union, etc. Like insurance, you can shop for money as well, especially now.

Im going to pay in cash and ask my father for a personal loan. I have a $25,000 trade in to dealer with the rest on cash, my budget is no more than $60,000 for a listed 2019 hellcat charger but hoping to get it for a little less, maybe $2000-$3000, due to them just sitting on the lot.

My credit is around 720 but I plan on paying in cash. Average around 10,000 miles yearly, garaged, and I’m 30 yrs old with no accidents or tickets in the past 5 years.

I got a quote for 800 monthly on Allstate, is this normal? How can I lower this?

$800/month? Maybe for 6 months. Keep shopping...

Find the 2019 you want, get all the discounts available & negotiate your best OTD price.

The deals are out there I got a Redeye Widebody for 64K. You should be able to get the 2019 charger around 60-62K. If better than god bless you. I bought mine new for 73k haha

800 a month??? for insurance...only if your 16..with a DWI...and have run over a pedestrian in a school zone in the past year....

There is 2018 with around 10,000 miles asking 44. What are some things to look out to prevent buying an abused hellcat. This is kind of the reason that I am considering paying the 10,000 for one with 4 miles on it.

Three factors will have insurance companies factoring it into your rate...(even after 5 yrs)… the first obviously if it was chargeable ….2nd..the dollar and cents amount of physical damage vs premium....and 3rd..(the most important..)..was it a personal injury claim...generally any two outta those three...will have you bending over..and grabbin yer ass cheeks for quite some time...

sorry got a better quote from state farm for standard for 198 a month for 12 years for 50k for bodily and property damage. All state is cheaper but its by 6 month policy. 277 a month for 6 month policy. Why do they only sell 6 month policies, what is the advantage of this?

Insurance companies are funny...depending on the geographical region..or even state to state you may see variances or restrictions...in NYS..you will see rates and terms and conditions vary by zip codes...who knows..it could even be some regulation they have to comply with...

Check out Hagerty. They usually have great rates for collectible and muscle cars. Check out 21st Century also. I had them when I lived in Calif and they were great.
