Corvette smokes the Cat from a dig. Roll race from 40 is dead even until 120 the charger starts pulling. They shut down in 130s. Looks hot there.. DA is probably not helping the supercharged kitty. I’d imagine with better DA after 100 or 110 the kitty would probably pull on the base c8 model.

The thing I think of is how I use to race on that track (Lone Star Raceway in Sealy TX.) b4 Hennessey bought it & shut it down to open public racing , now he just uses it all to him self & his shop next door. We went there every weekend for years & years. It was the track west of Houston & originally it was 1/8 mile then it became 1/4 mile & a lot of people went all the time so I sure I'm not the only 1 sore about Spoiled Hennessey buying it !
What a shame.

C8 rides like a Lincoln...quiet as a Bently..and just as comfy..and on exit ramps...its a slot car...how they sound proofed that cockpit is nothing short of amazing...the wife loves it...disconcertingly quiet for me...

Exactly what I keep saying. My local racing group has a guy that keeps posting stuff like this. Because a Hellcat doesn't run a 10 on stock power. 🤣

Sure throw joe shmo in the Hellcat and it doesn't always turn out well. Put someone that knows wth they are doing and results vary greatly.

Performance aside...the C8 is a remarkable car...Its no HC/RE/Demon...my wife and I spent the day out in it over the week end..she said don't you like this better than your Challengers..".the C8"...is now officially my wifes car..I'm not knocking it...but it aint a HC

Joking aside, I might buy one when the Z06 version is released. This Corvette damn near broke the internet when deliveries were happening.

The biggest problem with the C8 is the lack of interior room. Maybe it’s just me, but very few manufacturers make a performance vehicle meant for tall people. By tall I mean 6’8”. If you’re over 6’3” you’re SOL!

Have you sat in one? From what I understand the C8 has 16 inches more leg room than the C7. I had a C7 and at only 601 I hardly fit.
