Would you seriously want to tow that much behind a Durango??

I know that the J2807 ratings favor power, but physics still dictate that a long wheelbase and weight are very good things in a tow vehicle.

To put things in perspective, I won't even tow an empty 18-foot car hauler behind my Ram 1500. There's just no forgetting that it's back there.

As for a used Trackhawk at 50% right now, not a chance. Unless high mileage they are still pulling $70k.

And here I'm trying hard to get 76K or more for my '20 with less than 1,700 miles on it.

Lol couldnt give a rats ass about what Demon owners think. But I’m sort of with you. I passed on the Demon because I would never allow myself to get so far sucked into the hype of a limited run car that I would overpay like that. Ive always said if they wouldve just skipped the limited BS and was available for less without the crate and ECU, I wouldve been a buyer. Or maybe offered this car along side for less. Just a straight no nonsense, no race fuel/swapping ECU street racer but with the drag suspension. This is that car. One could argue why not just buy a Demon and run it around in 808 mode. I guess because it seems like the 840 is what youre paying for and never swapping the ECU, using race gas, and going to the track and using it would make me that guy with the cigar. Not to mention the price. This car to me is not that. To me the Super Stock is exactly what I wished the Demon wouldve been in some ways. Drag strip people are obviously happy with their Demons, im just not there. Plus I feel the Demon is too special if that makes sense. I’d want to just bubble wrap it and never drive it lol.

Id have 0 issue cutting up a S/S vs a car like the Demon that could be worth big $$$ down the road.

And from the looks of it, you hit a certain level and these guys are putting in th400s or glides so then you can have a real trans brake and 2/3 step!

For those who think the demon is just a straight line car your dead wrong .... run ignite 114 on the road and get 15.6 mpg cruising and handles like a dream . Hit the HO button and crack a 9.20 all day .... will your watered down demon do that ?? And yes we have two hellcats , 2020 redeye the wife daily’s and the demon . Unless you’ve driven one or tracked it .... your opinion means jack shit to the rest of us too !

Actually no hate but via the aftermarket you can get the race gas button switch panel and a tune for however much hp you pic. And on pump e85 as well.

Yes, the warranty is gone but if you are running 9.20s in a Demon, then so is yours.
