I thought e85 was a big reducer of emissions compared to gas powered cars.
Even regular gas has 10% of ethanol in it.

What could the EPA want at this point?

I do think this car will have the bigger 3.0L blower on it.


It could possibly be a 426 iron block Hellcat with the 3.0L but I think that require a lot more money/engine complexity than what they have time to deal with.

15% drive train loss on the 885hp DC kit gets you to 1015ish hp range.


I said before, the biggest unknown is if this will have the Demon/1320 Suspension or not. Because they said only 1 Demon, I don't think so. But if they really wanted to run that 9 flat that NHRA is now allowing them to do, they just might.

In fact, I think they try to make it run an 8.90 just to be faster than the Plaid. And claim that "Banned" and "Fastest" car title back.

Is that because more and more cars are/will be soon running 9s stock?

If so I missed that memo. Smart on their part and good for track (and Demon) owners...and anyone else running slower than 8.99.

Pre Covid I would usually go to Manheim Pa. high line sales 2 or 3 times a year with a friend of mine that's a local used exotic car dealer....for those who have never gone it's quite the experience...for him it's work...for me...I was like a kid in a candy store...

Starting this year, cars from 2014 and newer can run without a cage down to 9.0 and up to 150mph.

Like Boris said 9s. You only have to make 2, 9 second passes to get the streel legal license so way easier then what you have to do with older cars. Plus no safety equipment. They know we gear heads have a screw loose so one way to weed us out

It was my business years ago but the high line sale was always a special event.

My friend was the guy that wouldn't leave till the last car ran through...some dealers would no sale a car early on...then if they over bought and had to cash out....the same car would run later in the day...sometimes for 1500/2000 grand less the they wanted...my guy was pretty savvy that way...

Middle of the afternoon are the good run numbers. Many times I would run late to get a good number the next week, if it didn't bring the money.

Now...after Covid he rarely goes...does it all on line..
