Keep in mind only one OEM (GM) uses a sensor for their factory FF vehicles. Not saying it's not better than inferred, but GM is the only one doing it that way that I'm aware of.

Satera has a solution, but I think it requires splicing or adding some wiring to the harness/pcm:

https://sateratuningstore.com/mopar-true-flex-fuel/

But they're kinda weird about the whole deal with in house install only, limited tuners, etc. That would be a concern for me.
I thought GM was the only one with the sensor. So it CAN be done. Just a matter of making it happen.

I’m to the point I’ll probably just go straight e85 when my fuel pumps arrive, but I’m going to play with the inferred flex tune a bit, and test some fuel as well.

talking with someone else about it today, I realized most guys that run ethanol verify alcohol content fairly often if not every fill up (at least for us pump ethanol guys)
We never trust the “minimum 70%” posting by the pump as many has verified that’s is not always the case, yet we assume the “up to 10%” on the unleaded pumps are truthful.

my main questioning is that it appears some fuels read 7-13% pretty consistent, but other fuels read anywhere from 17-40%

I’ll accept that with my SFTF swinging as I’ve always been told they will (again non wideband vehicles) but I can’t accept that a pump that promises UP TO 10% is honest when the pump next to it promises 70% MINIMUM and I’ve seen as low as 58% personally

Our E85 pumps here say 51-83% on the pump label. I use Speedway brand and the lowest I've ever measured in a beaker is 73% and the highest 89%.

Narrow bands swing back and forth. Wide bands move some but shouldn't be much if injectors are dialed in.

Our pumps state 70% minimum. The one close to the house I almost always measured 70. High was 86, low was 58.

Well, if your pumps state lowest is E70 and you measured E58 someone's got some explaining to do LOL.
