Ford Vs Ferrari Have you seen the Movie? What do you think about it?

What a terrific movie , I guess it was right up my alley but even my young kids enjoyed it . Production circuit car racing was and still is the top of the tree where I grew up . I was lucky enough to find and buy the homologation race car I grew up loving as a kid and bring it to the US , we took it to a thanksgiving event this morning with 300 odd cars and then drove it to the theatre to see the movie today . Nice to see my countrymen in Chris Amon and Bruce McLaren get a mention and if you missed the movie McLaren it’s a must see . The Worlds Fastest Indian not a bad flick ether.

I saw it last Saturday….guys like Shelby only come around so often...a mans man..I doubt we shall see the likes of this breed again in our life time...

For sure. Shelby was an icon in the automotive world of our generation. His contributions continue on today, even if more in name than substance.

I took my wife when it first came out. She is not a car person. But she stated "she liked the movie alot". It took alot of courage and craziness to race back then. To be honest I was never a Ford admirer due to the history of Mr. Henry Ford. But we all drive cars today that have some kind of negative history behind them.

I just watch Shelby on Netflix, a good watch after seeing the Ford Ferrari movie.

My wife and I are part of a movie group that goes out on Tuesday nights together to enjoy the $5 movies. Last week was Ford vs. Ferrari. We all loved it. I think I'm the only "car" guy in the group.
