First... I want to say thanks to Phil and his dad for coming out. The sportsmanship to make the huge effort (and expense) to do this has to be commended. They are first class competitors that do this for the pure enjoyment of racing. The best! I hated to see the difficulties but this happens. Anybody who does this at this level has those days. They worked hard at trying to get it corrected but it wasn’t possible. Overall.... it was great seeing them again (and the beautiful work that’s been done on the car since last time) and we’ll meet up again in the future.

So the Big Bang at the Bend wasn’t to be. 😞. Just to close the story...... Mr. Stinkeye was on steroids! It’s really too bad WhipCat was ill because it would have been one hell of a race. Omega has turned this event into a true half mile from a dig instead of the roll that it has been. The shutdown has been short for some of the faster cars out there and I think they had some close calls with some not getting stopped. By eliminating the rolling 150’ at the start, they in effect added that to the shutdown so you can make the 90 degree turn off instead of sliding into the bushes in the desert. So anyway..... Stinky threw down a 183.67 mph for a standing start half mile, and that’s not too bad! Only thing better would have been if it was side by side with the Whip

Yeah that actually sucks. If Whip is not urgently needing to go back to FLA. maybe SRT can exactly diagnose the problem.

wicked good time. Had a blast hanging with you Marc. Your car is a work of art and it is wicked fast. It has more in it. I can only imagine the devastation when it hits the drag strip.

racing is racing, and I broke my cardinal rule when heading out. Never work on the car day before racing, didn’t get time to test it, put miles on it. That’s what happens. All is good we will get the car sorted on our end.
The overall experience of coming out is worth it. Gotta make sure to keep the trend going. Keep racing and keep having fun.

Yes but I can’t post it here. I don’t have the ability to do that.
