That was what we used....Garmin 296. We had to take them out of the aircraft every day after missions and lock them up because they had our flight routes, and all the FOB locations in them. You can actually program them for any part of the world if you pay Garmin the money.

you can see...we didn't fly any higher than we needed to over there.....we used terrain and low target angles to our advantage.
