This Boost Monkey is great for tightening iridium plugs. Just go a half a turn at a time and test gap. I would not put the feeler gauge in the middle as you are tightening.

I ran 2309's from 9000-14000 approx. Been on BRISK ER12s since due to eventually spraying. They have been fine boost only so far. They are also gapped a little tighter. Maybe .026 vs .028. That also makes it a little harder to start on the corn sometimes.

Yes if you are spraying the wise choice. If not even though iridium does not have the conductivity of silver the small firing electrode is easier to ignite and can be run at .028 or even .029.

I ran my 2309 at .028 on 18-19psi and had no issues.

I am bummed. I did not get to use my monkey adjuster. NGK states these are pregapped at .031. They all came tight at .026 and it took a little effort to open them up to .028 with the side gapper. I will get them installed within a couple of weeks
