If they're really discontinuing the Camaro the Gen 6 sure was short lived. I had a 2016 2SS and it was just so so. I never really loved it.

I think the plaid thing is a spaceballs reference.

Chevy dealer near me is tacking on $4k adm to all of their V8 Camaros right now. They don't have as many as they usually do, so I guess they can get people to overpay for them.

Yeah.....I was in the 6-8k off of mine too at the time. The dealer near me is usually one of the big volume discount dealers so to see them add ing $4k to even the regular V8 Camaros and not just the ZL-1's and the higher models is sad, but I guess with the shortages they are getting people to pay.

Lol, I know anyone can own any car but never been a particular Camaro fan and then when I bought one of the business out here the owners mom drove one. Yellow w black deck stripes. She shortly moved on to a hot rod red Merc.

Not like Hellcats where all the owners are young manly (or womanly) studs......

Truth be told, I was seriously considering getting a Camaro instead of a Challenger. I was even one of the first to test drive one when they first came back out in 2010 (I think)...

Unfortunately, the dealer didn't mention the first batch of Camaro's arriving at the dealers were all V6 cars. I test drove it anyway and I can honestly say I was impressed with how it handles and the brakes. Power was even impressive for a V6 too. But the short windows and blind spots were a huge problem for me. Felt claustrophobic in there! I ended up going next door to the Dodge dealer and test drove a Challenger the same day.....and it's been downhill from there!.....lol

That's crazy. I drove by the Lansing factory today. There were literally thousands of new Camaros sitting in the lots.
